Petter Lindblad
– What did you do and where did you work before coming to PCP?
I joined PCP after six years within the renewable energy industry, working with capital structure considerations for Vestas Wind Systems, the world’s largest producer of wind turbines. I spent the first twelve years of my career in the Nordic banking sector, having different debt origination capacities in Stockholm and Copenhagen, including DCM as well as structured finance, for SEB and Danske Bank.
– What will be your primary focus at PCP?
I will focus on transition debt funding, i.e. financing companies on their way to sustainable business models in relation to carbon emissions, use of limited natural resources and biodiversity. These targets are crucial sustainability risks for society, but also attractive business prospects for corporates. We expect sustainability leaders to financially outperform their peers and hence become attractive investment opportunities for lenders and investors.
– What role can a firm like PCP play to support funding transition and sustainability?
The investment needs to turn corporate business models sustainable are enormous. By building on the strong PCP track record, competences and networks in relevant industries, PCP will play a very active role by providing bespoke financing solutions to support transition for mid-cap corporates in North-western Europe.
– Why did you choose to join PCP?
I was excited by the opportunity to work with and finance companies that can contribute to the solution on some of our largest environmental challenges, combining my strong interest for sustainability and renewable energy with my credit structuring background. Working in a smaller and more entrepreneurial organisation like PCP was also very compelling.
– What do you hope to accomplish at PCP?
I hope that PCP will become the preferred financier and partner to companies that are the future leaders within reduced carbon emissions and resource utilisation as well as biodiversity, while at the same time generating an attractive return for our investors.
Robin Kjelldorf
– What did you do and where did you work before coming to PCP?
Before joining PCP, I was the CFO for a media agency group and, prior to that, I spent 12 years at SEB both as a controller at SEB Finance in Stockholm and the CFO of SEB New York.
Throughout my career, I have worked with regulatory reporting, transformation and providing supporting analyses.
– Why did you choose to join PCP?
I share the same values as PCP and I look forward to learning from the extensive expertise and experience of the members of the team.
– What do you hope to accomplish at PCP?
I hope to build a scalable reporting structure for our investments to cater for the growing number of investments in our funds. As investment controller, I also aim to deepen the dialogues with the CFOs and management teams of the companies we work with.
